To-From indicator

To-From indicator
An indicator used in aerial navigation with the VOR (very high frequency omnidirectional radio range) system. The To-From indicator shows the pilot if the aircraft is flying toward or away from the station it is flying at in the heading shown on the omnibearing selector. When the aircraft passes over the station, the To-From needle changes from “To” to “From.”
